My work is a search for silence — a study of how light, form, and time create moments of stillness. Whether among weathered rocks, solitary trees, or angular architecture, I’m drawn to structures that endure yet breathe.
Through minimalism and patience, I explore the balance between permanence and impermanence — between what is built, and what is simply there.
Each image is a conversation between elements: light and shadow, order and chaos, solitude and connection. My photographs are not about the world as it appears, but about the moments it pauses — when it simply is.
Why “Fit Light”?
In the North East of Scotland, “Fit” is Doric for “What.” It’s both a nod to my roots and a reflection of my fascination with light — its moods, its changes, and the way it shapes the world around us.
